Sleep and Study (Reponse to Chapter 7 Know Yourself and Your Journal

School time and sleep don't mix at all. I always get caught sleeping less than 4 or 5 hours a day after homework. Just a really ugly habit. It's really easy to get distracted and not do your work, which basically happens to me. Ways to improve this is working at school. On Monday I actually got all of my homework done so when I got home I just relaxed and did whatever I wanted to do. I really prefer the college/school environment as it just creates that drive and focus for me to work rather than do other things. Although internet connections tend to get really ugly in certain places, this may be an advantage if you necessarily don't need the internet, so that it prevents you from being distracted.

Studying is very vital and important. The whole point of studying something is to have an idea or remember a certain thing for a test, quiz, mid-term, etc. With studying it's all about FOCUS. You must focus on your studying in order to gain this knowledge and put it into your brain. Use rhymes, songs, or certain events that can help you remember what you need to know about. However don't try to learn everything at once, cramming all this information in your brain may give you a headache. It's best study in parts and spread your time out for more broader knowledge.
