Skills (Response to Chapter 12)

When growing up, I never really stuck into a specific skill as I always found myself following certain trends like pokemon cards, skateboarding, myspace, etc. Recently during my 7th and 8th grade year, I started to become involved in school activities such as the Associated Student Body, the Filipino Youth Coalition, and the Filipino Club. Being part of these programs raised my communication skills as well as expanded my network as I got to meet a lot of people during these programs. I not only progressed in communications, but I found journalism to pretty interesting as well as I decided to start blogging as well as taking pictures with a DSLR camera. As I entered college, I chose to become a communications major as I enjoy communicating with other people. In the future, I hope to graduate with a bachelors degree and probably become or teacher or work for a major company as a spokesperson. These future ideas may easily change as i'm constantly exposed to new things that are really interesting.

Money Money Money (In response to chapter 12)

Money plays a big part in anyone's life, especially in college. I find myself spending the money I have left of my summer job on my own personal needs when it's possible to use save this money for more valuable items. My parents constantly get mad at me as I do this obnoxious spending as I spend most of my money on food when that money could be saved and I could just eat at home keeping that money that would've left my hands. I'm currently looking for a job in order to have money that I can personally use. But as I receive this money I'm looking to set my limits in order to save money and make it useful.

Decisions Decisions

College I must say is one of the greatest experiences I have ever had in my life, like a fresh start in life again. You're your own person when coming on to this establishment and the decisions you make may have its good and bad effects. The definition of right and wrong is solely up to you as there is no one true answer to a right or wrong. What may build up this definition and might probably confuse of defining a right or wrongness is one my favorite things I like to talk about, society. As you come to an agreement to a certain decisions one person/persons may like what you decided, but another person/persons may believe what your doing is not good at all. For example, there's a party you wanna hit up and all your friends want to go, but if you do go your parents won't be too happy. If you decide to go, it'll then make your friends happy, but if you don't go, it'll make you family happy. People might say that choose the scenario that will make you happy. But in most cases, all types of scenarios will benefit you and could probably make you happy. If you did go to that party, your parents may be disappointed in you, but you would be having a fun time with your friends, but if you didn't go to that party, your parents would be happy with you and appreciate that your still there for them.

It's difficult to make decisions, but whichever one you decide, it'll benefit you someway somehow.

Making The Video

Making our MUSE short film, Kenny's Party Experience, was actually a very fun experience. The set we made in Jae's suite from the disco lights, extremely loud speakers, and a dark club/party like environment. I'd like to thank Jae's roommates for helping out with the film by becoming extra party goers even though it was a man-infested party. We did make two versions of our film. One for the MUSE class to see and one uncut version, which may not be suitable for the MUSE class (IT WILL BE KEPT PRIVATE). This was a great experience and makes me very interested in film making.
